Danny..... you are a HERO man!!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Yeah, the Whiskey was telling everybody all week that cameras would be allowed. I even rented a lens for this one! A few minutes before the doors opened, security came out and announced that there "would be NO cameras allowed, no video, no cell phone pics, no ANYTHING pics and if you are seen taking pics you're in jeopardy of being sent out or having your camera removed"! WTF???? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I'm sure someone (Curt? :-)) will post an awesome review of the show before I manage to do it, but I thought I'd stop by and post some pictures from yesterday!
I took tons of them before security decided that people couldn't take pictures (again, why??), and here are some of the best! It also includes, in the beginning, the setlist - with a nice, shiny Slash signature on the bottom-right (you rock Bob, as always!!) Got mine already, and very excited about it!
So, the ticket says 7pm show. Does that mean there'll be some opening acts? Does anyone know what time the Whiskey closes, if we want to hang around for a few drinks afterwards? Who else's going?? If your going to the Whiskey show be sure you get your tickets early because it's a small place and always sells out really fast, and if you can't get up close on the floor get upstairs fast it's almost right over the stage depending where you stand,have fun.

Does anyone know more about this Whiskey a Go Go performance in late August? Will it be a full set? Or just a quick thing? The site says it starts at 11:15pm. How long will it last? Is it Beth and Jon, the full band or...? Just wondering. I'll be there no matter what, but would be great to know what else is going on! :-) Hope everyone's doing great! Danny. |
